Child Support

In Tennessee, both parents are usually responsible for the financial support of their children, regardless of marital status. Despite this fact, one parent will usually be responsible for paying child support to the other. The idea behind this is that the parent who is receiving the payments will already be paying for the child’s needs.

This doesn’t mean that along the way life won’t happen. Circumstances and situations often change and child support orders need to be modified or in some cases, enforced. The Eke Law firm can help! Contact our office today for an initial consultation today!
